Default Any members of the Middlesex IAM group here?

I'm just wondering how long I should be riding before it's worth joining, and what the people in the Middlesex group are like.

Having passed my DAS a couple of weeks ago, is it worth joining up immediately before I've built up bad habits, or should I concentrate on improving my bike control and join up when I've done a couple of thousand miles on the SV??

Any thoughts?

Keith.

Keith

Natalie Dee from MAM has done a presentation in my shop about the benefits of doing the advanced training, so I generally refer any enquiries I get to her. If you want, I can pm you her email address.

get into it now if you feel confident with your riding, else wait a little while until you are more familier with your bike. I waited about a year and a half before I went on a bikesafe course, and I am now consiering doing some sort of advanced training 2 and a half years on from passing my test

I've just received an e-mail from Natalie, one of their members, and they sound like a decent bunch (of course she might be their recruitment bod). Think I'll give 'em a try.

Glad that Natalie got in touch Keith. I've met a couple of them, and they seem like really nice folks.

Natalie isn't their PR person as such, just a member with bundles of energy that is keen to liven up the ranks with more people.

When the weather picks up (I think I rode past Noah on the way home on Tuesday ) I'll ask Natalie to come back to my shop to do another evening for folks to find out about what your get for your money.
