Monday mornings... - SV650.org

I did a silly thing today - I set off for work and about 2 or 3 miles down the road felt that all was not quite as it should be on my pillion seat...

Dozy me had forgotten to zip up my tailpack properly and the Oxford chain I keep in there was dangling out of one side.

Worse thing was, I then had to double back on myself to find the 2 disc locks that had also made a bid for freedom. Luckily they're a nice bright yellow colour so they were easy to spot lying at the side of the road.

Anyone else had a stupid start to the week?

Yeah, glad it didn't cause any problems. As for Mondays........... Nope no issues here. LOL

I've done similar before. Left my digs at Leeds, hit the speed bump in the one way system in the usual manner... heard a big "thunk", oh yeah ... the big ABUS chain is on the floor. For some reason I had bungied around the seat, THEN put the coiled up chain there...

Had my phone in my bag top pocket, took my lid off, went to take my boots off, bent down, and it fell and hit me no the head

awwwwww hun...

although i cant say anything as I´ve managed to loose a tailpack from the back before now on a dual carriageway!! Not great place to stop and get it!!! GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr fortunately another friendly biker saw me and went and got it for me.

..and some of the old MoFo´s might remember fondly a certain jumper that escaped from a rucksack on a ride out
