Just missed out by minutes

Grrrrrrrr... Came across the bargain of the year. I was thinking of upgrading from my sv to a R6. I had a r6 for a few months and feel in love with it, but cash was a issue so i got the sv.

\Love the sv but am ready to upgrade now, came across a add in gumtree and i thought it was too good to be true. It was a 2006 r6 new shape on a 2007 plate only 4750 milage in great shape new damage at. Rang the guy and he told me he had over 200 calls which i thought would happen. I thought i would have a hope in hell as he said first to him with £3000 takes it away.

I somehow got the cash together did a hpi on the bike then me and mates went out in case it was a scam and was maybe 30 seconds away when he called to say it had just sold.......

I was a bit upset as you can imagine, I did see the bike and it was in perfect condition... grrrrrrrr was a bit ****ed off but hey what can do!!!

know the felling bruv lost out on 2 yes 2 sv's this week thinking ov gettin the wife something else now that someone will actually sell me

Shame.. If i all worked out i would be selling my sv now. O but we can dream.

what happened to plowsie's dave?

I was not willing to sell it to Dave in the end, was more hassle than its worth, ask some of the members that were at Silverstone the other week.

yea plowsie was a gent wish there were more like him that puts pride and reputation before making a quick buck
the other was a long orger from scotland. had made the deal only to get a pm 2 days later telling me his dad had already sold the bike
so if antone hears of a sv for around a grand get hold of me asap
