Default cheeky buggers

I saw it all yesterday.

I know times are hard, money is tight, it was mothers day and the flower shops are ripping off guilt ridden kids who feel the need to visit mum in her care home etc.

There was I walking Jasper (well taking him out so he won't poo on my lawn) when along side me pulls up an 08 plate beemer. The passenger jumps out and runs across the road to the banking that looks lovely at this time of year with hundreds of daffodils, (goes off all Wordsworthy like an old fart).

She grabs armfuls of the things. runs back to the beemer and he is off with a wheelspin trying not to draw attention to the fact they have just nicked at least a hundred daffs.

I then had to smile as I passed the florists 50 yrds on with buckets of daffs for sale and thought why bother when you can get them for free up the road if you have the brass neck to simply pick them.

There weren't many to be seen in the Cathedral's graveyard yesterday morning despite there being a fine display on Friday evening
