Anyone know anything about black cabs?
Does anyone on here know anything about black cabs/ex london taxis?
I am thinking of getting a cheap run around for days when I need a car and reckon a taxi might be a cracking thing to have. Where is the best place to get one? anything to look for? or best to just avoid and get a car? Cheers, Kev |

It is mainly for karting the kids about during the holidays as I have about 4 weeks with them and not having a car available is a mare, a cheap old cab I wouldn't be bothered about.
I did look into a car club type thing but there is nowt close to me. Not worried about going into town either really. Might go to the auctions on Friday when I drop the bike off for a service. Soulkiss - how are things? |

I know it's possible to fit a black cab body onto a Land Rover 88" chassis. That way you can have a V8, 4WD London cab.
