Default Pointy (k6 compat.) clocks

As per the title, does anyone have these kicking around anywhere?

I'm not sure if the pointy clocks remember mileage/trip counters, or if the ECM does this. But I'm really not bothered about mileage if they do.

Reason for wanting one? My LCD has given up the ghost it would seem, meaning I have no speedo amongst other things.

You planning on having a play with the dead clocks, if not, I wouldn't mind having a tinker

They're happily yours mate once I've got a replacement. I've already had a fettle with the connector on the back (resistance/continuity/voltage on all pins with ignition in both states) - just I haven't opened it up yet.

I'll post my findings later to confirm my thoughts on screwed clocks.

Nobody got one kicking around? Pah.

Suppose I'll have to be buying a new set then...

(sneaky bump BTW, did you notice? )

Baph, got one off a K5...well it's either a K5 or K6 as I know it came off a black framed bike. I was going to put it on a Curvy but no chance of that now.

It has a little a little crack(next to mounting bolt) on the plastic backing. You can easily swap yours with it , though not really needed.

Mileage is very low . I did check the mileage with a friends bike but can't remember now, how many miles it had but would be between 3K and 6K I believe. Certainly not much higher or lower than that....and for sure lower than the recorded miles on yours

Anyhoos cost me £125 plus postage but yours for £110 posted. If it suits your requirement, let us know addy and I'll stick it in post tomorrow. We can sort the monies out once you've got it.

Ben, sorry, you're having a giraffe right?

There's some on evilBay for £90. I'm half tempted to just stick a Vapor set on it though TBH, as they're even cheaper than OEM.

Thanks for the thought though dude. (unless you want to price match ).

21Quest or me?

Mine are now cleared.

Though it's only fair I state that I've now received new clocks, and have yet another problem.
