Not the film, a tribute program, absolutely brilliant. What a man he was, I've never really seen any footage of him before until tonight. What a funny yet strict and forceful manager, I would have hated to play under him yet honoured.
Anyone else watch it? Will be off to see the film when it comes out. |

My wife and her friends saw him when they were kids
they ran upto him for his autograph, he was rude and told them impolitely to go away. her view of him arrogant tosser

A genius but troubled man in my opinion, a great, great manager and one of football's great characters, but his comments in the wake of the Hillsborough disaster left a rather nasty taste in my mouth I'm afraid.
