Default alarm disc lock

The CCM has very little room to fit an alarm (think packet of rizla's), so when I got it apart from a big chain & lock I also got a Tech7 disc lock alarm, works well and fits in the chain bag on the back of the bike.

Anyway a couple of nights ago, it went off about 4 times for no apparent reason, stripped it down and it seems the bolts holding the alarm cover cut the rubber "O" ring type seal and have allowed water in, a good clean and bead of silicone have sorted it.

Just thought it worth noting if you have the same sort of thing might be worth a quick look.

Cheers Mark.

Matt it says 112db on the box, I did look at the Xena one, looked exactly the same and was £4 more expensive, I think they are the same unit to be honest, but don't know.

Cheers Mak.

Oh I would probably have done the same myself if it had been the alarm that had got dicky, but as it was a simple fix and hasn't played up since, thought in might save someone else having to muller their one.

Cheers Mark.
