Default Treating Burns

I burned myself earlier and it was sort of a blister but now the skin has come off and it stings! Put a plaster on it or leave it open?

Run it under cold water, rub a bit of antiseptic cream on it and grit your teeth like a lady Plasters don't help I find, just keep it soggy. Depends on how big the burn is of course, and whether it is in a place which will constantly get brushed or mucky...?

Put Jensen's Violet on it, be fine shortly after that. Skin hardens up and is less sensitive, oh, but it does burn a wee bit...

I had it under water for a while then had ice (rice) on it for a couple hours but then it blistered up and I just brushed it against my jeans and it ripped off. It's on my arm and about the size of the side of a solder iron

I dont no wht size a solder iron is.......if its not big, no need for A+E, if it is a big burn I would consider going an getting it dressed.

Skin graft

Get a Stanley knife from your tool box and remove some sacrificial skin from somewhere the sun don't shine & slap it on top. Jobs a goodun

Gawd wait til I see you lady

Never ever rub antiseptic into a burn. Don't rub anything into it.

seriously run it under cold water. If its a large area, cover it in clingfilm. Germs can't get in then.
Edit...small area on your arm won't hurt either.
