New rider, just bought 1st bike! - SV650.org

Hi,

I have just passed my bike test last week and today bought my 1st motorbike! An SV650S ('07), think it is a K6? Only got 2,500 miles on it. Nice and clean.

I am based down in Amersham, so may try to get to some of the rideouts with the Thames Valley lot...

The next Shire meet is Tuesday 21st. If you don't know where it is I am sure one of us can meet you and show you the way.

Welcome fella! Get yerself down to "The Shire" meet if you can. Congratulations on the first bike, You'll get a lot out of the SV - very good first bikes.

Thanks for the welcome guys, not sure if I will be able to make the 21st as I will probably be working late in London that day, but will keep my eyes peeled for the next meeting (also...1st meeting 3 days into a new bike..I will probably drop it or something!!!)

Whereabouts is 'The Shire'? I am hoping to pick up the bike on Saturday so I am sure most of Saturday and Sunday will be spent riding about...

Ahh, a good old Prestonian!! I am from Preston originally, used to live in Fulwood then Ingol. Moved out in 1999, but my parents still live up there in Blackburn now...
