Default battery problem with undertray

i have a pyramid plastics undertray fitted to my sv650 curvy, but if i stick the battery in the bike it puts a lot of weight on the undertray and when i ride about it bonces which has cracked my undertray. has any one had this problem and if you did, did you make a bracket ?? im stuck for ideas

Have you removed the entire old undertray? I fitted my Pramid UT over the top of the old one after cutting the shovel off.

i havent done any of the work it was all done by the guy who had the bike before me im just trying to fix his mess. and yes the old tray is bolted to it but it is cracking from the weight of the battery.

and i take it when you mean old undertray u mean the tray inside the bike ?? that the tool kit bolts into ??

Yes.

With the old one in there shouldnt be any weight problems, it was designed to hold the weight of the battery. Post up some pics when you get the chance.
