Generally you just undo the indys, take the rear seat and tool tray out, undo the bolts, bolt the new one up and bobs your uncle.
What tail tidy did you buy? If it's an R&G or Evotech one, they have instruction manuals avalible from their website in .pdf Format. |

If it's the RR Send generic tail tidy - I think you'll have a job fitting it. They are designed to bolt to an undertray that has a "ledge" or fitting point for the rear plate.
Fleebay it or send it back and get yourself a Hamicad. |

I don't know if this is going to help or not. I just fitted a tail tidy to my K8 without instructions.
Basically I needed to remove the riders seat and rear plastics to get access to the "snow shovel". You'll find thats held on by 4 bolts and my tail tidy was a straight swap, although there is a bit of a gap which is apparently normal. You'll need Allan keys, a socket set and a screw driver to get those annoying plastic rivet things off (I broke a couple when I did it, but I am ham fisted) Took me a couple of hours altogether. I know its a vague description but if you have any questions feel free to ask |

the motrax product is a universal fit isn't it? think you will need to modify it to suit your bike, best to get a tail tidy that is designed for the sv if you are not too good at cutting and drilling.

I bought an rrse end as well then figured I could not fit it. Took it back and bought a Hamicad. Have to say it was a good decision as the hamicad was real easy to fit and the instructions were spot on..
