I liked that, although rather than advertise a helmet headset I'd say stay off the ****ing phone. it's what voicemail is for.
Cheers Mark.

i have the scala headset - comes with the tomtom rider sat nav, never used it with the phone, but you cant really hear the sat nav instructions above about 50 very clearly, and it doesnt fit very well in some helmets - its meant to clip on over the plastic outer shell of your helmet but my AVG has the lining attached and completely sealed from the end of the helmet and i have to attach it to the padding, which doesnt feel very secure, but it hasnt fallen off though so its probably just me being panicky lol

Are you sure the volume's on full on the sat nav and also on the headset? I find that after pairing up my Garmin, I have to turn the volume on the headset up to get it to the loudest possible. Also, make sure the speaker is mounted when the centre of your ear sits to ensure maximum possible volume ![]() |

thinking about my helmet eh
![]() probably not knowing me, i do know however, if you forget that its on and your not expecting it to talk to you, it doesnt half make you jump lol! or is that just me? i could do - i don't like the idea of cutting up my helmet though - i do lots of long journeys - would the slot widen if it was battered with winds for 3 hours? i dont wanna lose my padding lol how is your helmet padding set up? how does it differ to mine? ![]() Last edited by Graciepants; 26-05-09 at 05:24 PM. |

Do NOT cut your helmet. Do not drill it, modify the straps or do any other of those silly ideas.
Having said that, Jester & Bender have something very similar to that. They seem to think it works ok. I'm not sure what the make of it is, but its a bluetooth headset. |
