Default strange juddering.... Advice?

On the Bike yesterday... Twice this happened.

I was giving it soem beans yesterday... Once moving in to open speed limit from a 30 the other pulling out and over taking a car. As the revs got high(not too sure what level) the bike seemed to judder... loose a bit of power then pick up again... the engin was still running but seemed to jump or miss.... or "something" its difficult to describe. I had a pillion on the second occasion and he said he though i had missed a gear when it happened it was that strong of a judder..

What could this be??

Bit concerned with the GMII coming up. Want this sorting

Dave

Missfire? Either coil/ht lead plug breaking down under load or bad mixture caused by fuel starvation (blocked filter or tank breather?)

Dave have you adjusted your chain yet? Just to rule an overtightened chain out of the equation.

Next have you checked the oil level, seeing as that was the last thing done to the bike?

Just make sure nothing was messed up by the last work carried out before looking for new problems.

Pull the plugs and check colour. Refer to haynes manuel for pickies of knackered plugs. If one plug is blacker than the other there's the dodgy ht circuit, if both ok then maybe fuel?
