Yup!
mine did the same at speed. So crappy motrax one for £10 + two garden fencing support things ( there a U shape). Cut one side off spray black. 5 mins on drilling holes to match up with tail tidy which doesnt fit the sv. then bolts stright onto the bottom on the bike. cheap and simple if you have 45mins to spare. dead strong aswell. will grab some pics if you want ? Edit: or buy somthing for £40 thats actually made to fit?? |

i was lucky, only 20mph.
yeah pics would be useful as i have no idea what you are talking about ![]() ![]() tried the so called "universal" one from motrax... dont fit, the mounting point isnt wide enough... may have to be the R&G one but £50 seems a bit steep for some bent metal. |

Probly better in the long run.
But i know mines not going anywhere fast! Ok wuick run down. ![]() Top- standard plate with 4 bolts that is on underside of bike. Down one- L shaped metal bolted to what was left (+ drilling ) of old tidy tail. the bit with the indies attached infront of that: If u can see the matt black corners thats the motrax one which is bolted on by the number plate light ( central bolt by the wires ) and two others either side above the number plate nylon ones. another image for refernce. i realise this could be explained alot better. but if u can do this... only cost is around £12 excluding the new number plate i needed after the wheel melted its way through. ![]() |

nice work fella!
nah, cant do it, havent got the top plate. it snapped on the down section where the num-plate goes, and across the plate that bolts to the bike... thanks for going to the trouble of taking pics though. looks like i am going to have to lighten the wallet... |
