Default Bike Bearings

Ive use this company for the last few years, cheapest by miles.

If they dont list Koyo for the headbearing kits, call them as they do have them in stock, just the website does not have the option to select.

An alternative I heard a recommendation for (one example was slightly more expensive, but delivery is cheaper)

I like simply bearings, they're very good for finding awkward sizes. When I had to re-bearing the front Dymag it turned out the bearing code stamped on them isn't correct (weird that) and Dymag wouldn't tell me the right one, though they did kindly offer to sell me a pair for £30. 2 minutes with Simply Bearings and I found the right bearings, for £2 each. Delivery was fast too.

So how do you search for the bearings you need if you don't know what code they are? I need front & rear wheel bearings for my ZX7r

Ring a mechanic, or pull bike to bits and look.

ZX7R - Front wheel takes 2 x 6005UU

Rear wheel takes 2 x 6205UU

Sprocket carrier takes 1 x 6006G

According to the 1997 Kawasaki ZX7R microfiche on Ron Ayers site.

Look them up here

http://www.gear4bikes.com/acatalog/Bearings.html

Looks like 6005 front bearings for example (although I may have got the wrong model).
