Default Painting help wanted

So i had a little off......brand new tyres and a damp road has seen my inexperience show its ugly head, and i dropped my 650.

Id now like to hide the evidence and my embarrassment by repairing my Suzi.

I have replaced the broken rear indicator, bar end and gear shift. The remainder of the damage is cosmetic. This is where you guys come in!

There is a scratched patch on the side of the fuel tank (beer mat size) and a smaller one on the seat surround. There is a sizeable scratch on the chrome clocks too (its a naked).

So what i'm wondering is can i respray them myself, (cheaper to do and id like to learn how to do it too). I resprayed a door on my first car when i was 17 and was actually really pleased with the result. I have read a lot of information on here and some other useful links but i still have a few questions that i'm hoping you guys can answer.

-I own a 2000 (X) SV650X (naked) i think its candy blue, but the previous owner replaced the front fender with a new (darker) fender after an accident with a disc lock. I'm under the impression its from a pointy it looks great so was thinking i might respray the bike all the same shade. Does anyone know what the colour name is so i can order some?
-Now respraying the seat surround can i use standard paint stripper, or will that damage the plastics?
-Does anyone know of someone who does the stickers properly, i bought some from evil bay and frankly they had printed them off on their home computer, and looked sh*te.
-Is it work trying to respray the clocks?

-Finally does anyone recommend somewhere to buy the paints primers etc

So thanks to anyone who reads and reply's to this. Experience and advice thoroughly appreciated.

Alex
