Thumbs up Hel - a brief word.

Just wanted to relay that I've had a really positive experience dealing with this company.

I've rang them now on 3 occasions, placing a total of 4 orders for custom brake lines; rear line for the SV with the rearsets, fronts for the SV with the GSXR swap, which I spec'd a bit too short prompting me to order a new set, along with a new line for my supermoto.

Not only is their product really nicely made, but their phone manners are great (patient and helpful) and they seem to work at a speed that defies logic. Each time I've ordered, and keeping in mind these are custom orders, it's been well after lunch. Each time the lines have arrived in my mail the next morning! I live in Corby and they're apparently in Exeter so they couldn't be much further away and still be in England, but you'd think they had set up shop in my back yard. Granted I think the Royal Mail deserves some of the credit there, but I'm amazed that Hel manages to consistently build my lines and get them shipped out so quickly, and without me begging them to rush.

Oh, and btw, when I reordered my custom lines for the SV, even though the error was mine, they provided a very nice discount on the replacements AND the line for the supermoto -without me asking or prompting.

Anyhow FWIW, I'm really pleased with them, and would definitely not hesitate to purchase from them again.

+1 for their customer support. Only needed to deal with 'em once but I got treated like a long time customer.

Yup, from me as well.

I've placed an order which looked like: a set of front race lines + 3cm.
Guy on the phone was very helpful, delivered within 2 days.
To my inexperienced eye, they look better made than Goodridges' and came with the correct banjo bolts (unlike Goodridge ).

I must say, although many have had problems of the wrong lines being sent for a particular year of SV.....and me benefitting by some new lines going cheap for mine

Recently Im Indoors ordered some for his VRaptor. Now VRaptors are barstewards for getting parts for. I'd warned him over Hel sending the wrong products. SO off he goes into the shed and takes off his old lines.....something didn't fit, the threads on some important bit weren't right....Wrong part.
He rang Hel up and told the guy on the phone, that the part they'd sent had the wrong pitch and it needed to be XYZ. Its ok came the reply, it depended on year, they used two types (or companies to make that) I'll just send you the part. Next day, the part arrived. Can't say fairer than that.

We just hope the rear is ok....thats bad enough to bleed up in the first place! Hes not fitted the front yet either

BTW...my black Hel lines look rather spiffing on my black curvy!
