Default Worst ride in a while...

Wet, cold... but that's the half of it.

Well its the wettest day i've seen in a long time, was meant to be doing a parade (joy) but it got cancelled due to the weather. So I set off home having lost 4 days off due to parade practice in my days off to come home for my one day (saturday). I made it home; just realised it might have sounded like I didn't...

First its the coldest i've been in a long time on the bike, colder than I was during winter tbh, though that is mostly down to no heated gear today. Recently ive had a bit of a bad back but its been feeling fine for the last week. Well I have no idea why but about 50 miles into the 100 miles trip my back twinged bad and I knew id done it in again, tried to move about a bit and Oh no! Anyone who has ever had a bad back knows the agony, was near tears due to it, not that you'd notice in all the rain...

So naturally I was unhappy and going pretty quick, quicker than I do in the dry to be honest to get home. Next on the list, at about the 80mile point I notice my bag is undone in the mirror, how it came to be I have no idea as it has zips that go all the way to the bottom... must be some trick of the wind. I certainly didnt forget to zip it up!!!

^^Bag in question.

So I stop on the motorway to see what id lost, 2 DVD's. Damn. Someone who I was overtaking a while back must have got them throught the windscreen... So shut that up and go off again.

Fortunatly from there it was pretty un eventful, but damn... Im in pain and out of pocket due to DVD loss and my gear is wet through... and to top it all I got to do it all again tomorrow, after getting my front wheel ballanced (you might have seen my recent thread about juddering front end... gah!) and change the spark plugs as I think its about time I did.

Last thing. Its been reasonably nice for the last 2 months, the one night I want to have a pleasant ride back home because of being screwed about at work it is as nasty as it has been? Sods law I know... but stull

Anyway, thats enough of my winging. Just thought id give you all some garbage to read on this lovely Friday night...

Take care!

Mate... you ever been to Fylingdales? Its not like "normal" bad weather 40mph winds, rain going side ways up, around, about. Its fine once your off the moor's, not good on them. There is a reason no one lives up there.

Randomly someone thought I'd want to watch some anime series called Love Hina and gave me a disc or two a few years ago if you want that to replace your Cowboy Bebop. lol

I stuck it away in a case and decided not to watch it.
