have not had a bike for 1 1/2 years now and thinking of getting one.
not after a faired bike now so looking at nakeds and it is between one of these or another sv (I do like twins though). the z is a nice bike, the suspension seems better than the sv (from what I can remember). ![]() ![]() |

Loved the look of these since i first saw them, except for the cans, though that can soon be sorted.
How was it to ride? |

Mmm Z750 is a good bike, I had a 2004 one, don't know what they're like with the USD forks but even so I'd expect them to be more looks than perfomance..
They look nice, but only with aftermarket cans.. engine is a POWERHOUSE lmao |

TBH it is a nice bike to ride.
it is nice and smooth but it is not a tourqey as the sv, and I think that is my problem I don't rev the knackers off bikes (that was one of the reasons I got rid of the CBR6 and went back to a SV). It turns in nicely but I was not pushing it as I had not been on a bike for a long time. I do like the look of this (with a different can on of cause) over the SV, but the SV sounds better and the engine is more me than a IL4. |

Stuck a Scorpion can I got from ebay on it last week, so if you get one I can tell you how to disable the servo that controls the noise valve in the can ![]() Get it, you know it makes sense ![]()

before settling on the S4, I rode a one and also the earlier version, both nice, the newer one felt a little more refined and not so raw, whether that's a good thing or not is up to you, although brakes and suspension are well up to the standard of it's peer group; I found them the limiting factors and would need to spend money even on the new one.
Cheers Mark.
