Default servicing

hi all, anyone have a recommendation for a really good service centre in or around stafford, i have used chells before, pricey. i have used d and k before and they were ok, ross verdon couldnt get my rear wheel spindle out on my cbr1000f so gave up and didnt do service, and since he moved to hixon i cant find him ayway! would rather use a main dealer if poss cos its 15000ml time. also if i could get ballpark figures that would be great!
used to do it myself but hardly have time to ride let alone service it too!

The 15K service had not long been done when I got mine. Looking over the documents I can see it cost £120. I think that is very cheap, I remember the seller said it was a one-man-band who he knew and trusted. Sorry I can't recommend anyone local.

hi rusty 120 is very good, do you know if that was valve clearances etc? or just oil filter air filter and plugs and kick the tyres.

think average price (in shefftown anyway) for the full 15k service is around £140. So £120 seems a good price, if you have the tools then it is something you could try yourself though.
