Hmmm, well, on a similar note, would an aftermarket can from a k9 SV also be good for a k5? Or did they make significant changes between these years that would make it unsuitable?

K4-present parts are generally interchangeable AFAIK, so it should be fine.
The K3 was the one which certain parts won't fit later models. |
