Angry %$"£&^£%£%& scooter riding pillocks!

So my nice shiny red triumph is not quite so shiny any more.... parked up this morning in Kensington to go on a site visit and came back to find the bike wedged literally between 2 scooters... I had parked in between 2 bikes already there in a gap that allowed me just enough space to get off and walk out... 2 *****s clearly thought that half a foot was enough to get their crappy vespas in and promptly did so... no idea how they got off their scooters as there was literally no space at all.... the result of all this – some nice scratches in my paintwork and a cracked radiator cowl.... and a thoroughly bad temper!!!
Got pics of the scene, damage and the culprit’s number plate so will be contacting the DVLA for their details....
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.....

PS, If anyone comes accross a little grey piaggio scooter reg no LF51 ZBT, feel free to kick it over and set fire to it!!!.... Only joking of course :P

OK Rant over..... feel much better now

Damn, sorry to hear that!

London bike parking is notorious for this, luckily I can park in the basement of my office building now, but when I had the SV I used to have to pry it out from in between scooters (mainly) every couple of days when parking on the street

Mm, that sucks. D:

Definatly claim for the damage, the bastweeds. Try parking where's there's a little bit of space.. this kind of thing will probably just keep happening until YOU start making precautions.

At UCL, some scooter riding prat blocked me in so i couldnt get my bike out. I told him to move it (i said it politley) and he said "im late! deal with it" i shouted a myriad of abuse at him, and continued unlocking my bike. I was al ready to just hoik his peice of crap out the way when he came back

i informed him to think a bit more carefully and to be more considerate. But he, being a scooter riding, untraied pillock, didnt really care and gave me a blank look. I expect he gives those same looks to lecturers when they try and teach him

grrrr

Wouldn't make any difference in London, any space would be rapidly filled up by other bikes/scooters.

Sorry to hear about this RH, that's one of the reasons I don't park my bike in any bike bays because a lot of people are inconsiderate pr@ts. Are there any CCTV cameras in the area overlooking the bay? Just thinking that you may have difficulty proving that the scooter riders caused the damage (they could just turn around and say that someone else must have moved their bike).

Buy a couple of cheapo locks. Then if someone parks inconsideratley, move their scooter and lock it up for them.

Cheapo locks... what an awsome idea!! If i'd thought of that at the time, the chain and padlock wouldn't have gone back under the seat hump, they'd have chained the two scooters together.... doh!!
Defo one for next time though!
