Default Guess my fork oil weight

Well after numerous issues getting my fork caps off, someone could have told me i had to undo the pinch bolts first. I managed to get my pump in there and suck out some oil. So now its question time
Forks full with 10w removed 200ml and put in 200ml 15W, this was Shell 15w which i beleive is pretty thick for 15w.
If this makes any difference il have to have another go and get some more fluid out, roll on tomorrow for testing time

Problem with this approach is that its almost impossible to repeat the process reliably.

I know but i measured the same out of each leg then put the same back in so i was sort of hoping that it would stiffen the front up a bit at little cost
i have harder springs just needed thicker oil

Its pretty hit and miss though, the oils may not blend properly and may blend differently in each fork. Why not just empty the forks and do it properly? Doesnt take that long to do.
