Smile Dunlop Sportmax D208

Got these for free! And finaly got them fitted today, first impressions are that they sticky as you like. I felt very planted however I'm still running them in but I'm sure that these tyres really do need some beyond standard warming up to get the most from them.. The sides of the there are so soft and are practicly a slick.. Bit worried about wet weather though.. Not sure how they will hold..

On the flipside I'm expecting some crazy lean angles this coming summer LOL

**** - four stars ( for now )

Quite like the tread pattern on those, I guess. Aren't they the ones before the Qualifier came about?

I noticed shops chucking these at everyone actually. They are very sticky got them on my sv, apparently not a good idea to try them on the track though, apparently they 'let go with no warning'. Dunno how well they'll wear.

Did well for free though! I'd consider them again.

I can vouch for that I just took some off my 600rr, and they do let go without any warning at all.......I nearlly highsided at rockingham doing 80-90odd on the series of lefts, no warning at all and how I saved it I will never know, full on **** off seat and no feet on pegs.

I got about 2500 out of them for reference, mainly nailing them though to be fair so could last longer.

Experienced the front dip today on a right hander although when I got back I checked my tyre pressures and the front was on about 28psi (doh, own fault for not checking regularly enough)

I got a practicly new set on my FZR400 which have done about 12 miles they are the same size as the sv! so if i dont get much intrest on the fzr wheels then the sv will have a set of D208FRR's

Got my D208's on now

Initial thoughts? am i still on my 021's? i havent noticed any difference tbh, ok ive done about 30 miles on them and they have about 100 on them already any way, lean angle feels same, they do get a lot hotter, but they seem to flick over better when left right lefting on a roundabout etc, disapointed if im honest but at least they arent worse.

Edit: Yesterday (14/7/09) rode with them in the wet, tbh their not that bad, i quite liked them, they didnt spin or wobble and i didnt lock them when a stupid old biddy pulled out in front of me in her nissan micra whilst i was doing 60mph
