why POLICE so Fast?

Hi,
I had to write to You, because what happened ystrday to me made me lot's of thinking about style of riding on the motorway....

I was touring ystarday with my brother ("on the back"), from Swansea to Manchester in one day, and I saw police officers on their bikes.
I was riding 70-90mph all the way, only slowing down when speed camera...Police overtook me easily and they wave to me= just to say Hi...
So, I decide to ride with them on the same high speed, because I was thinking: if police can ride so fast why I can Not....??
But then I start thinking that speed camera will catch me and it will not ask me why I was riding so fast....
Additionally Police were much faster then I was on my bike and they rode away :/

My point is:

If I will follow POLICE and any camera will catch me, will I have to pay any fine....? Well answer is simple: YES , but WHY??

Seems to me that police should be a 'role model' for everyone!!
and they shouldn't ride so fast.....hehe

or

(...) if Police can ride so fast without being fined, why not so everyone else??

they went for normal ride.....:/

Just be happy that you were not pulled per after following them
You know how it is, some are more equal than others

Reminds me of my bike safe training, the group I was in got separated at the lights, the copper said to me: "I'll chase the front pack and slow them down so you can catch up". I thought "nah, if you're having fun, why shouldn't I"
Damn, they really know how to ride them beemres...
