Hi folks
My contract is about to run out in the next month and I am think of changing network provider. I am currently with T-Mobile but want to change as their signal coverage is getting worse IMO. So the questions i have for the .org is what network do you use and have you had any problems with them? Where I live it seems to have poor signal coverage despite what it says on the websites. Thanks

Im with 02 (PAYG) and ive never ever had a problem with them in 5/6 years
Wherever Ive gone (in both the UK and abroad) Ive had good signal. I didnt even loose signal in Norway and Finland which amazed me since where me & matt stayed was pretty remote. I used to be on T-Mobile but gave up with them because they were pricey. 3G is meant to be crap for signal - it was that bad that my friend terminated her contract early. Orange is meant to be a bit rubbish as well but I have not had them myself so cannot speak for everyone. Highly recommend 02 |

I'm with O2... and never had a problem, but since they took on the 'iPhone' deal the choice of phones, which was most everything seems to have diminished. So much so that I'm thinking of moving network to get a better choice, it seems to be a couple of Jokia's and Sambungs, mostly kackberrys and the isheep. Even there vast choice of XDA's which where all the lastest HTC's phone, now only 2 to chose from.

I'm with....
wait for it.... ASDA mobile, lol. They piggy back on other carries, mainly O2 i believe but they are dirt cheap and have not let me down in the last 6months ive been with them. No idea about coverage but i guess if they piggy back on other carriers they may use whoever has the strongest signal in your area.

T-Mobile have abysmal coverage on the IOW so they're not an option...
Had major hassles with O2 over unpaid bills for a phone I'd returned as faulty, took them six months before they sorted their mess out No problems with Orange or Vodafone, with Vodafone now and when we had three days of poor reception at our house due to transmitter repairs that overran they gave me a month's free line rental for my trouble

my wife used to be with T-mobile as well but when her contract ran out she changed to Orange but has had nothing but problems with them.
I am considering Vodaphone or O2.

i had vodaphone as a PAYG phone moons ago now, prolly 1998 ish, had no problems back then that i recall. when i got a company phone we started with 02, had a few voicemail retrieval issues to start but they were quickly resolved - the issue may have been to do with multi siming - and coverage again was pretty good.
so, either would be good in my humble.... |

i phoned T-Mobile today to confirm when my contract is due to finish.
I told the bloke that I wouldn't be renewing with them as their signal has dropped in the last week in my area. Bloke checks and informs me that there is work going on with the mast locally and he will action £10 off my next bill. Hmmmm may have to reconsider leaving T-mobile if the signal gets sorted soon.

I'm with T-mobile and their signal is really bad. I'm thinking of moving to Orange you get a good deal and free broadband.
