What do you want to break?

Or do you want help fixing your rear brake?

I'd help if I was nearer mate.
Depending on it your just cleaning it up or totally breaking it down it's not that hard a job.

I'd recommend overhauling the caliper but for that you need the seals. In the meantime i'd whip the caliper off, inspect it, and see if the piston can be pushed back with a g-clamp. Then try not to use it until the seals arrive for the overhaul

Pm Yorkie Chris (apparently he's bored as hell til the end of the month, charges good rates and you get the added benefit of someone who knows their shizzle inside out giving you a demonstration of how to fix/maintain bits. He's a fairly nice guy (just watch out for him trying to recruit you into the maclads

Here are those two brackets you lost Paul!

Hindle, if not fixed tonight, PM me and I'll give you a hand tomorrow. I'm at work at 4.00pm until stupid 'o clock.

i meant the rear brake specifically. If you can push the piston back it won't rub on the disc any more and will be ok until you can overhaul it. But having someone there to help is a much better idea so you'll soon be sorted.
