cardiff to Kendal - SV650.org

Hi,

Six of us planning to ride from Cardiff to the Lake District on July 24.

Currently we plan to go from M56 to north on M6. Naturally not really happy with this so I was wondering if anybody's got any alternative routes to get (part of?) from the A49/M56 junction to Kendal.

i go up via welshpool

This route will cut out a lot of motorway and it takes you straight past Devils Bridge too.
