In my dad's last few years i made a point of telling him what a great guy he was. We'd always had a great relationship, and it was even better for the telling. Gone 5 years now. Miss him loads, especially his wit when helping spannering. Same with mum, gone 5 weeks, she couldn't spanner but by 'eck lad she could cook.

I think my dad knows i'm very grateful, i was a bit upset with my bike, saying i felt bad because i always get some problem and then i have to take up his time because i can never fully mend the problem myself...i'll give him a hug later though definatly
cos he;s spent loadsa time sorting my bike out after my accident aswell, and he always takes time to answer questions when i ask about how this works or how that works. your right though, its good to be straight and tell people what you feel, especially the good things
