Hi guys, im new to the forum. just passed my test and purchased an sv 400 from a friend of mine. however as im only restricted to 33bhp i was wondering if i could buy a restrictor kit or if there was another way other than getting it 'down tuned'
thanks |

FI International & Suzuki are the usual suppliers. FI international's website doesn't list the SV400 http://www.fiinternational.com/search.asp
So that leaves you with a couple of options, phone your local Suzuki dealer and ask about the supply and fitting of an official kit (assuming there is such a thing), phone FI International and ask if they can supply a kit, or make up some washers, fit them yourself to restrict airflow between the carbs and the engine inlet tract and have a dyno run done to prove 33BHP or less. Someone's posted the dimentions of an SV650 restriction washer set (both ID and OD) which might not be a bad place to start. Jambo
