Default Mr Speirs and Cyclops

Well the day arrived at long last. Mr Speirs years NCB rocked up, so suitably covered and taxed DMC, G, and ourselves went for a ride up to the Peaks. Met Chucky, KellyJo and OH Jeff, plus Mike 2165 for a chinwag first at MSB.

Midland Superbikes

Went via the TT road to Melton Mowbray then up to Clay Cross.

Headed then over to Matlock and the bunkhouse place that we are all staying at in September

Then for a late lunch headed over to a cafe that I've never been to before. Grindleford Station Cafe. Very good value for money.

Then onto the Snake and Woodhead passes to a viewpoint.

Finally popped into the Cat and Fiddle for a last cuppa before heading home.

Fantastic day out with perfect weather and no police interference. For Chucky, we got home at 21.15.

Looks like it was a good day. You should have popped in for a cuppa, you must have passed by me on the way to Clay Cross. Hope you didn't break any of the 'rules' at Grindleford Cafe!

No, we were good!

I did check the menu for veggie options for Ibby though, and although fairly limited, she should at least find something suitable on there if we use it for a lunch stop on the Peaks weekend.

I had a proper good sleep also. Had painful wrists today though. Cyclops doesn't like doing any less than 60mph.

Had a great day, a good introduction for the bike for me. Really started to get to grips with it on the way home . It handles amazingly round corners and feels so much more stable than my Sv650.
