Mixed opinions?

Everyone I've spoken to who's tried them has been converted. Illuminating road signs a mile away... what more you want?

Someone I was on a rideout with had them. He was behind me on a run a couple of weeks ago & I was amazed at the difference over std, that was in bright sunlight, so I would have thought they would be brilliant at night. He said that they were really good compared to std

They are my favourite upgrade, even over the can! I'd have no hesitation buying then for any future bike I have, beware of imitations though, lots of people get suckered by the "straight swap" types which are just bulbs. HID need ballasts to create the amount of current required

The main limitation of course is that they are illegal to fit as aftermarket units.

Not that that should stop you, but be aware of it.
