Default Registration marks from March 2010

Anyone know what happens then? So we'll have the '59' plate up till the beginning of March....and then? '10' plate? So in the second half of the year will it be a '60' plate?
Had a quick browse of the DVLA web site and couldn't see anything. On a side note I'll never understand why they didn't go back to traditional yearly changes and then just use the year - they started in 2001 so would have been fine for 100 years or so. This way they run out in 50 years instead and confuse everyone!

They wanted to help the Motor industry either balance out the seasonal rush or sell twice as many new vehicles a year
