take care on stairs - Graphic image !!!

some of you may know, had a huge accident on the bike several years ago resulting in among other things a big skin graft on my left shin. I've been so careful about this for years and never damaged it until today !!!!!!

After we got the new dog we put some trllis on the stairs to stop her coming up them - i was walking down them today in a hurry, lost my footing and my left leg went down on the trellis. Here's the result...

Fair play to Swindon NHS though, they put in 9 stitches and did an amazing job on it to make it look like normal again. I was worried as they would need to stitch through grafted skin, they were a bit nervous (great !) but managed it after a few attempts, need to keep them in for 2 weeks but will be back for the Welsh TT and camp over

I always wondered what it would look like if I cut my skingraft

I was expecting a lot of blood and guts

I'm sure it was very sore. Bad luck.

why'd you go and do that for?

ironically - no pain - as there's no nerve endings there !!!

feel a right T^t though as I've taken care of ti for 17 years like that.

Thats an excellent skin graft... top marks for whoever did that
