Ok so about 5 weeks ago a Co-Op insured girl wipes me out and writes my bike off.
The whole claim has taken a ludicrous amount of time but they finally admitted fault last week and I may start seeing some money soon. (Oncoming they cross the center line onto my side of the road and hit me head on). Got a letter from the Co-Op today saying they have a claim against me and consider me at fault and need my details! Seems odd...especially as I phoned THEM to report the accident and give all my details when 2 weeks after the accident thier driver still hadn't reported it so my insurance company were stalled. Turns out it's a different claim against me from co-op... Apparently on the 24th April (2 months before my accident), I was driving an Audi Car (I don't own or drive a car..what with not having a car licence and all...)...and hit a Vauxhal Vestra..belonging to some bloke I've never heard of.... I'm sure it's just a b*lls up on the Co-ops part putting my name down on the wrong file somewhere but when they asked for my details I kindly declined and told them I'd get back to them. I assume I should pass this to my solicitors and tell them to sort it out? How much trouble is likely to be do-able if they persist that they are right? I mean like I say I don't and can't own a car! let along get into an accident with one but I don't want a stupid admin error to start giving me more grief and need to nip this one fast. phone your brief who is dealing with your actual accident and have them chase this mistake up with co op mention the words feeling harassed by threating phone calls , it will be sorted out very quickly
