OK. Paris, although not very big, has a huge amount to offer - something for every taste and every pocket. So in order to be of any help, we need more detail before we can make any recommensations. So tell us:

What's your budget?
what sort of things do you like doing?
what sort of things do you like eating?

etc..

The view from the Eiffel tower is amazing (Arc de Triomphe looks like a Monopoly hotel from up there) but the queues are also insane, you just have to take it though, or at least the stairs as far as you can. Get a Paris Visite card, you can get them for multiple people or days, gives you all the metros plus return trip to the airport - buy it at the airport when you get there. See Notre Dame, it's amazing, if there is a long queue then don't panic, it'll be 10mins not 2 hours like the tower. From Notre Dame, go over the bridge onto the Ile, a short walk and a turning will take you to Cacao et Chocolat, excellent little chocolate shop. Also there's a park next to Concorde, nice for a walk and a beer. Visit the Louvre if you have a week to spare, otherwise the park outside is also nice. Find a cafe, eat a croque monsieur, shrug ambiguously, smoke a tarmac roll-up, and enjoy Paris!

We stayed at the Hotel Langlois in the 9th I think, though I guess you already have your place booked. Top place though.

Don't drive when you're there whatever you do - Paris is the worst place I've ever had the misfortune to ride through. They're all a bunch of insane, murderous, impatient %£%*'s!
