Default Full Licence :)

Two years today i passed my restricted bike test, so i guess that means I'm fully licenced now?

Oo oo, can anyone tell me about test riding new bikes? Because that sounds like a good way of trying out different sizes and styles of bikes. Please tell me i don't need to be over 21 and have a house to use as collateral?

Anyway... that's my interesting thing of the day.

Some ask for a credit card for deposit (£1000-£1500), some ask for proof that you have your own insurance (i.e. a fully comp policy), some you have to sign that your liable for all possible repair costs. All require both parts of your licence.

I always ring in advance to arrange and been able to test whatever I wanted

I've never been asked my age, although I good dose of male pattern baldness kind of absolves such queries

Wooooooooo

I've got just under a year left.... but as I don't have a bike anymore I'm not currently riding 33bhp either. Don't think will have a bike by the time I come of restricted licence so that could be fun!!!!

Anyway... all bike shops I have been to say you need to be 25 and over, some let you if they know you have a few years fully licence under your belt (so to speak)

Think the best thing to do is ring local shops and see what they can do for you?

i never had a problem when testing riding after my restriction came off as i had been riding for the 2 years on my own bike. I was over 25 mind you but if in doubt phone up before hand and ask

Places I have visited recently required a years full licence and to be over 21, but think it's all down to the dealer. Give them a ring. Congratulations on joining the big boys/girls.
