I've got a set of straight 2002 forks that have done under 10k miles.

It depends how quickly you want to get back on the road.

Sourcing all the neccessary bits for the GSXR conversion could take a while, plus theres no quarantees that the forks would be straight or usable without some work anyway. Also some peeps who've fitted the convo had problems/delays in sorting out a new speedo pick-up, so if you commute or are particularly worried about precise speed, that could be a problem.

There is also a R6 conversion, but don't know how much info there is on that.

Get the standard forks. They do the job fine.

A pushbike speedo would be less than a score ( & some read up to 180mph )
