Porthmadog - 675.cc report

I post on another forum - in fact I'm management there. It's a Triumph 675 site, UK based but with a few honorary Americans who mainly are expat Brits anyway. www.675.cc

It's a fairly new site, still quite small but growing fast.

We had our first annual ride this weekend just. I organised it. We camped at Montford Bridge, the site where we had AR2006 in fact. But instead of 60 there were 9 of us - not bad for a much smaller site, the furthest (Nige) came from Plymouth, Henry from Lincoln, and Mick from Bristol. I came all of 5 miles from Shrewsbury Didn't do the same route as AR06, I took them over the Berwyns to Bala, then on to Porthmadog, across the toll bridge to Harlech and Barmouth, and back via the awesome Dinas Mawddy.

It went really well, no hassle from plod, no offs, no accidents, no nothing, just a great day - and the weather was fantastic, I was gently cooking by the time we got to Porthmadog where it must have been around 25 - 26C, at night a bit nippy in a tent this time of year but we had a right laugh.
