Trail/enduro Beta 400 RR

For sale is my Beta 400 RR on an 07 plate, 2258 miles.

This is basically a KTM 400 EXC engined gearbox bike with a linkage suspension. As such it is as simple to maintain for parts as the equivalent KTM. The 400 EXC is considered by many the best engine for greenlaning as it is powerful and yet forgiving, if you want to plod this wil plod. I am convinced the Beta setup is better than the KTM equivalent in terms of the whole package.

Tax until Feb 10, comes with road kit (indicators, mirrors, tail; not required and so never fitted).

I took this in March 08 as a 1 year old bike and it had had an very careful owner. Since then it had one year's use by me over about 6 weekends putting on less than 1k miles. It was used for laning around Wales and really has simply puttered around. It has not be abused, or ridden to half its potential. As such it has been overmaintained oil change wise, I haven't messed with anything else. I will be putting on a new battery as the current one has spent a lot of time discharged in the garage. Set servicable part worn tyres and spare levers included.

These pictures are a little old, but the only differences are expected scuffs to the handguards, and a mangled but servicable chain guard with some rubbing of the black paint on the rear wheel where the bike ate my coat.

Very cheap to insure with eBike, where it is listed.

Reason for sale is I am not riding enough anymore and it is now a garage ornament so should go to a good home.
