Can anyone advise what make/model of rear wheel hugger will fit or can be adapted for an SV650 SK9, have been advised by Pyramid that theirs will not? but am sure that someone must have fitted something by now.
Thanks in advance, JOHN |

are you sure that its not the same as k3-k8? as far as im aware the swingarm hasnt been changed so the mounting points should still be the same, but im sure someone more educated will be along soon

Official Suzuki Hugger is going to be your best bet in terms of guarantee'd fit, however they can be a bit pricey.
You wanna watch you dont end up with a K3 hugger as that wont fit, as it'll rub on the toolbox on your bike, which is down by the rear shock, on the K3 its not there. Its under the seat. |

The main reason that prompted my question was that Pyramid advised that the current ones they produce do not fit the K9 and having read the threads on huggers, thought I would ask the question via the forum.
I have this morning had a reply from Banditmania who can supply one in 3 forms i.e. Unpainted out of mould/Black painted/Carbon, anyone have any comments as to thier quality as the pricing seems VERY good? Thanks for the replies and advise ![]() JOHN |

Hi All
Having received my new hugger from Red Fox yesterday, I have fitted it today, OH WHAT joy sooooooooo easy to fit. I initialy followed their instructions but decided to remove the left hand rear footrest and bracket rather than struggle flexing the hugger, they advise removing the small dirt shield also on the swing arm pivot but having tryed the hugger I RE-FITTED it as it was not impeding the new hugger. I chose the Carbon effect varient as the bike is Black and thought that the shiny black may have been too obvious. All in all Excellent fit and at £75 + pp very good value for money. I await the release of their front mudguard extensions. JOHN ![]() |
