Default Visor Bags

What do people recommend?

I got a free one when I bought my latest visor from racevisors.co.uk. It basically like a bum bag that goes around your waste. However, due to the shape of the visor it does not seem to fit snuggly around my waste to the point I feel like it would catch the wind quite considerably at speed.

Do they all do this or is it because it a cheap £7.99 free visor bag?

Cheers

I tuck mine inside my leathers.

No problems.

I wear mine under my leather jacket, actually with the visor on my side at my lower ribs. This is both comfortable and secure, no flapping in the wind. I actually started doing this because I wear a bum-bag on the bike for bits n bobs, but prefer it now.

I've got two, an oxford one that is just a visor bag, and the oxford bumbag that also has a visor pocket, I tend to just use the bumbag (as that then gives me somewhere to store keys) but never had a problem with the normal oxford visor bag. Only thing is I wear it on my side though, more comfortable.

Is that not amazingly uncomfortable? having a hard plastic visor tucked in your leathers

If it were uncomfortable, do you think I'd wear it?

As others have said, wear it to the side and you wont even know its there.

Doesnt sound too comfy. Why not just have a tinted pinlock instead?

Waaaay more hassle than swapping visors for me.

Normally I have one (dark) visor for going to work, one (clear) visor for going home[1]. Or I carry one (in the bumbag I carry anyway) just in case.

Hmmm going to take some trial and error by the sound of it until finding something that suits.

I see it as no different to sunglasses but clearly the law differs, which law is it that they fine you under?

What is the fine for having a tinted visor fitted and no clear visor on you? (On a clear sunny day in summer)
