Default Thieving Douchebag

At the weekend I stayed at the Badgeresses due to the pair of us going out to celebrate my birthday . This was on Friday night . We were awoken rather early at around 4:30 in the morning as some toerag had set fire to 5 bins in the street , and apparently , a car as well .

The drama was soon over and after recovering for the best part of the day I rode home in the evening and noticed that there was Brake Fluid on the side of my fairing . It had dribbled out of the reservoir , I noticed a score mark around the black cap and the retaining tab was bent upwards . So some toerag has had a go at the bike as well . I took the cap off and noticed that the Large Washer and the Big Black Diaphragm has been removed out of the reservoir ..... what gives with that ? I`ve contacted the Police and they are gonna come and dust the bike down for prints in case the Arsonist has tampered with my bike . If they do get prints I would Dearly Love to find out who it is because they will lose those fingers to my Stanley "Jet-Cut" Woodsaw .

Lowlives.
Sounds more like malicious vandalism than thievery.

So here is my thoughts on that , why go to the trouble of unscrewing it all , taking the parts out then putting the top back on ? If you wanted to make a mess of things you could just bash that thing right off the bars , not exactky bomb proof is the old placky reservoir .

And to my mind , and this dusturbs me even more , is it a fellow biker that has done that to steal parts off my bike , they nicked my Scottoiler almost a year ago as well and that really riles me knowing it`s a bike savvy person .

Sounds to me like its a "this will be a right laugh" moment from some ****ed up pre-pubes. They know brake fluid is paint stripper etc, or even worse they thought that taking some of your brake fluid might cause an accident.
What do you recon the chances of pushing attempted murder with the officers involved? Get them a serious conviction rather than a slap on the wrist. If they've tinkered before whats not to say they wont do it again, but next time maybe its a pin ***** in the brake hose.

Told the Police that if I was at speed and needed to apply the brakes in an emergency , they would probably be looking at a fatality of sorts , he took it very seriously and mentioned some charge they could be got for .

too bloody right!
Pretty sure that someone stole me rear spindle nut or at least loosened it to make my day more interesting when it fell off. Only thing is, is with my recent mechanical f'ups i've got my doubts as well lol.

Hope they can lift the prints, but then you have to count on priors. Might be worth staking out the crime scene yourself lol. (yes im watchin CSI)

I meant *really* malicious. I'd have a good check of the fluid and the system, not just replace the missing bits. Putting the top back on and you not noticing cpuld have been much worse.
