Default Removing Pillion Grab Rail

When the grab rail is removed you can see the gaps in the rear fairing where it used to fit under the seat; if I replace the seat with a cowl will the cowl cover this or will the gaps still be visible? On a curvy BTW.

The Pyramid Plastics cowl covers the holes, most others dont, but there is a "how to" on here somewhere telling you how to cover them up.

My SV came with a cowl that included two filler pieces that cover the gaps. Sorry, I don't know where it came from originally.

I took mine off yesterday and with my cowl you can clearly see the gaps. so its far from perfect. But I still prefer it to the grab rail.

Well I've found the saddle shutters on banditmania, and if I thought 300quid was OTT for lower fairings they are really taking the p!ss at 38quid for two 1 inch bits of plastic!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe they can charge so much for oem bodywork that costs so little to make!
