Angry fitting tail tidy and undertrays F*** sake

i just spent the last 5 hours trying to fit my new tail tidy and undertray to my sv650 k3. i got a pyramid plastic undertray and R&G tidy tidy. now the fitting for the tail tidy dont fitt properly.

but the main problem is that the fitting for the tail tidy makes it stick out more and the undertray no longer can fit underneath the up rear fairing. i have been trying to fix it for hours and been hacking the bike apart with a saw to make parts fit.

above all just before i abandoned it totally thought i try to test the new indies i have got and the number plate light. when i plugged the number plate light in, there was a few sparks and now the bike no longer has any power at all. no alarm, no lights or anything.

need some advice reguarding other peoples tail tidys and how they fitted it with an undertray. also any idea why it no longer has power? recon i blown the fuse

i have gotten to a point where i just wana roll it into the middle of a road just before the 131 bus comes along and SMASHES ITS TO PIECES

.....and calm.

This is not the end of the world. Self induced electrical faults are usually very easy to resolve, a blown fuse will not break the bank. The saw on the other hand may have had mixed results

A qualified person will be along shortly with more technical help, and a little less mental therapy. Until then, please remain seated.

Pictures may help.....?

PS As a rule of thumb, nothing generally "requires" a saw, unless its an exhaust. Show us what you done.....

check the main fuse, its in its own box behind the battery, had a clear top in my k3, i blew it playing with indicators b4! should be 30amp as far as i can remember and thers normally a spare in there!

as for the tail tidy, i fitted mine by taking off the back plastics and it bolted on just where the old big stock welding mask thing came off, never fitted an undertray, didnt see the need, theres a wee gap at the back now but it doesnt really let any water in!

Could be wrong but I thought you didn't need a tail tidy with an aftermarket undertray??

From what I've seen most people that have a curvy get an undertray, but yeh it would make sense to onlinhave one or the other

but how would you fit number plate and indies to the undertray? and i dont think the drilling into the plastic will be strong enough to hold the plate and indicators and number plate light. especially in english weather and as winter is coming i would rather keep my number plate on lol
