Default For sale:Oxford GSi Gold immobiliser, New in box

Thatcham approved immobiliser, got it in a closing down sale from a shop a while back with the intention of fitting it to a bike I deemed worthy last bike wasn't worth it and my SV has a system fitted already. Was quoted £18 discount on insurance though so should pay for itself if your intending on keeping your bike for a while. Should keep the scrotes at bay too. Cost upwards of £80 new.

Never been fitted, complete in box as new.

More info heres

£40

Not a clue, someone might helpfully pop along and comment though.
There's instructions and the wires are colour coded IIRC if that helps.

You officially have first dibs
Had another enquiry but only really asked about price - I think that's fair? If not you may fight amongst yourselves...

Do these not have to be installed by a pro to actually make it thatcham approved?

Well you need a fitting certificate signed and stamped by an approved installer.

But for the sake of £18 off your insurance, i wouldnt bother.

If I were the sort to engage in fraudulent activity, my plan would have been to fit it meself and give them £5 for a stamp
....

Although I agree unless you're definitely keeping your bike for 2years+ you're probably just better using it for the security aspect as the insurance discount won't pay off. Some insurers do still give you a discount though if you say it's fitted DIY etc. pm me if your still interested sally.
