Default R& G Tail Tidy - Rear Indys Problem

Right after finally getting the housing out that holds the bulb, the bulb reads SINLETE H21W 12V21W E4.

I have replaced the bulb with a spare halogen that a mechanic friend of mine has, but the left turn signal still flashes frantically, as aposed to the standard flashing that should be achieved.

Anyone got any ideas why this is happening? and do I need to have the same bulbs either side.

Thanks in advance.

Just found out that these are the Micro Arrow Indicators as seen on www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk, so will give them a call in the morning to see what bulbs are compatible with their items.

you prob need inline resistors added to get the flash rate correct.

they are a few quid from heine Gericke or Maplins.

Never fit resistors - get a new flasher.

Spoke to Motrax and they have advised that I need to get both bulb of the same type - but there indicator sets are offset bulbs, so the pins are placed 10 o'clock & 2 o'clock - so making life even harder to get the bulbs

Although, my local bike shop are a motrax reseller - and have ordered some in, but will have to wait until Friday to get thee.

Oh well, more waiting.

Slloyd,
I am wondering if you did get the bulbs.
I am now in need also for a Sinlete 12V21W bulb with offset locator pins and it is is impossible to find. Might have to replace the whole indicator armature to change out to a different style in order to get indicators working again.
