Default Dan Brown, The Lost Symbol

Anyone else read it yet?

I have to admit to being vaguely disappointed after Angels and Demons, although reading the description of the character Warren Bellamy DB is obviously thinking ahead to the making of the film and given a definite hint as to who should play that role!

I started to read it but gave up, it hasn't really pulled me in like his other books have. Drew's brother has told me to stick with it till about 50-60 pages in but not re-tried yet.

I love reading, and both Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons I couldn't put down, but this one was a bit hard work. Very clever, but just not as compelling IMO.

I read the Da Vinci Code but never read Angels and Demons. Really need to as I enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. Infact, if I can find a copy of it up here thats what I will so in my spare time!!

On subject of Da Vinci Code, I haven't seen film, should I bother?

I'm about 5 chapters away from finishing this book. It's been ok so far but (maybe i'm being skeptical) it's a bit unconvincing in places. ie. 'hmm what is the code to solve this riddle?? oh wait! the key is printed in glowing orange letters on my forehead! how handy, why didn't I notice that before!'

Angels and Demons is the better book, IMO, and the film is better too, apart from the fact that Tom Hanks is STILL too old for the role!
