It's a shopping centre - just say no.

OK, you're asking about a shopping trip so you may not get a bit of stick but Bluewater is (as far as shopping centres go) very good although getting in and out can be a bit of a nightmare especially if coming via the Dartford tunnel. Lots of parking, loads of places to eat and drink and some very good (read expensive) shops as well as the usual suspects.
I usually take the other half shopping there 1st Friday in December as her b'day is 1st and although traffic is a pain the centre is pretty spacious especially the upper level (the Apple centre is awesome)

Loadsa space to park but if you want to get things done without crowds then either go just befor the stores open( have a coffe while you wait for stores to open) or go after 18h00 during the week. But as said before...it's a shopping center. |

Depends where you are coming from. Bluewater is a posh shopping centre, just across the river is Lakeside which is slightly different but a more reasonable priced shopping centre.
Parking is good at each, get there as soon as the shops open on all days except on Sunday.
